The VBCA On-Line Registration System is currently experiencing an issue centering on the continuing education (CE) application data. It appears that a significant number of records inaccurately reflect completion of the 2016 continuing education requirement. Those same records may also have data errors impacting the accuracy of previous years CE applications.
We are working closely with our IT staff to determine the origin of the problem, as well as to identify a fix and prevent future similar issues. Throughout the next five to ten business days, staff will work diligently to review and correct user records as necessary, as well as resume processing CE applications. Please note that this problem DOES NOT impact applications for certification, and certifications will continue to be issued within five business days of receipt.
While we are in the process of reviewing and updating user records, individuals may receive one or more auto-generated emails indicating that applications have been received and/or certificates issued. Over the next week or so, please disregard these emails.
